Lyn has been aware of the spirit world since her teenage years. Not being raised in a family that understood spirit, she pushed aside her thoughts and 'sightings'. Back in the early years she was aware of what she thought were 'ghosts'. Her first strong awareness was when her parents bought an old house next to a pub called the Roseycombe in Binley Woods. There she was aware of a young man's presence, who regularly walked through the house and into the back garden. As this happened in the early hours of the morning, understandably the 'sightings' were a little scary to say the least. Many times her intuition was correct and her interest in the spirit world grew. In her twenties she married and raised her two daughters, with an assortment of animals being drawn towards her and the family. Two animals in particular hold a special place in her heart and thoughts as they played a very big part in helping her to understand and learn more about this eternal life. Wendy (Piran Morwenna to give her, her full title) a little pony who gave so much pleasure even though her own health suffered for many years and a little border collie called Prince. Through her pets Lyn came into contact with many alternative healers and this re-opened the door for spirit to enter the life of Lyn once again. this time with an understanding of what was happening. She became a member of Paignton spiritualist church and attended services, open circle and many events that were held at the church, and the church will always feel like 'Home'. One day a friend approached and asked if Lyn would like to sit in a closed circle with a wonderful lady called Denise Vandenburgh. She jumped at the chance as Denise was a wonderful healer and medium who helped so many people, in so many different ways. There Denise helped, guided, supported and encouraged her through her days as a fledgling medium. Lyn started to do more and more public demonstrations within the local church's, centres, hotels and radio. Touching the lives of many with her warmth, sense of humour and enthusiasm for working with the world of spirit. More recently Lyn was invited over to Germany to work and working with a translator, once again without question gave evidence that life continues after the physical body. Her private sittings are sensitive and caring. Many have once again, with their loved ones from the world of spirit, shared laughter, tears and a cup of tea within her home environment or at psychic fayres, and have gone home feeling uplifted. This year Lyn has also been to Spain & the Isle of Wight to work & is returning to Spain in September.Lyn remarried in 2007 and with the support of her husband Phil she became president of Paignton spiritualist church (SNU) while on honeymoon in the Caribbean. Lyn was guild leader for four years and treasurer for 18 months. Lyn has held circles, workshops and demonstrations both in the UK and abroad, she has been inspired and equally, inspired & encouraged many people.Member of the spiritualist workers association & the SNU (class b member).
